Mother and myself have been losing sleep about it. Like being ready and all, and how I'm not. So today I did that thing that I swore I wouldn't do. I went to Sister Missionary Mall. I'm all for sister missionaries, hence the "I'm going to be one" fact, but I've always had a little bit of an aversion to shopping at a store (one store that can't even be comparable to a mall, so the name doesn't exactly make sense) that is dedicated solely to missionaries of my gender. I think I had a little bit of a stereotype in my head about sister missionaries being frumpy. And if you knew the ghastly dress code they used to have, you would say I am justified.
But clap your hands and sing a song, because the dress code has been changed! Sister Hyde will not look frumpy, but actually kind of cute.I really never thought I'd buy from there, but after trying on basically the whole store I came up with a few gems.
And Maren would be so proud, I didn't try on any of the Jody dresses.
We're getting closer to ready.
