April Doesn't Like Me Much

I am really unsure as to why the month of April dislikes me so much. Three years running it has smacked me in the face. I would have thought my open disdain for the month of February would be cause for contempt. But I clearly can't remember ever harming April.

But you know what April? After repeated infractions, I've discovered I'm not too fond of you either. All you do is bring us showers or in Logan's case, snow. Is that helping anyone? No. It is only crushing our hopes and dreams of sunshine and love after a long cold winter. Your stupid rain/snow is only depressing us. No one likes being depressed. You should really reconsider your behavior if you want more people to like you.

I do wish April and I had a better relationship. This year she psyched me out. Luring me into a false sense of security and telling me this April was different and happy and good. Until... Wham! Gotcha! I don't find it funny. So here is to another April passed. Thank the heavens the Red Sea has parted. May is here and things are only looking up! Especially since I'm done with school tomorrow :) And it is very likely I will pass my math test.

So long April, until we meet again.
