Who else enjoyed that last lovely post?? She told me not to freak out. But I freaked out. I love hearing from her, and that was the best of all surprises! I just can't help how much I love her. I posted on my own personal blog that she is the best thing to happen in California, but really just the world in general. We all love her. Don't we??
This morning I was surprised with TWO letters from Sister Hyde. She's having a hard week this week, but she's still positive! She says that they're not having a lot of success and this whole online missionary thing is slightly awkward. {I'm not entirely sure what "online missionary" entails, but I'm asking her in my letter tonight. So I'll let ya know!} But she shared the most tender experience, and I'm going to share it with you.
She was out on splits tracting with a girl named Christine. They'd had lots of doors slammed in their face, and then they got to this one door. A lady answered and they testified to her of the truthfulness of the gospel and how they wanted to share this message with her. The women got misty and said "You're quite the testifier, aren't you?" She didn't ask them to come in. She actually asked them to leave. But, Ann Marie said she felt the spirit and she was so glad the seed was planted. Then she bore her testimony to me about how worth it the mission is. She's suppose to be there. She knows she's suppose to be there. I'm thankful for her example of being there. Keep praying for Sister Hyde fellas!
