So Over the Vamps

At one point I may have been enamored with Edward Cullen. Back when he was trapped in black and white. Just words and binding. He was better there, a character in my head. As with most girls, I found his devotion to Bella somewhat romantic. Although I also felt it bordered on creepy. I guess its a fine line. I've always been a Jacob fan. Yes even before Taylor Lautner. Sunshine vs. ice seems to be an obvious choice to me. Edward is simply too intense. Bella, apparently has a difference of opinion. The whole Twilight Saga was a good enough story. An enjoyable read even, until some hot shot decided to bring this twisted love story to the big screen. That is where Twilight met its demise. For me anyway. The movies are shameful in comparison to Meyer's page turning novels. I went to see Eclipse. It was decent at best. I'll admit it was the best of the three, but the movies will never match my past obsession for the books. My insatiable appetite for the Twilight saga has diminished. I really do blame the movies. The characters were better in my head rather than in headlines. Oh well there is not much I can do, just be peeved. For the record I am not anti Twilight. I'm just over it. Too big too fast. And movie or book, I still think Bella is a whiney do-nothing.
