Tuesday was our miracle contacting day. We kept setting appointments and talking to cool people and everyone was super nice. It was uncharacteristically fantastic! We also met this guy named Cricket who is homeless by choice. When the weather is bad he sleeps in his friend's shed, but other than that he's a roamer. I'm not really sure why you would want to be homeless, but whatevs. To each his own. He's been meeting with the elders so he was kinda bummed to see us. He thought the elders had been transferred. He was happy to find out that we were in a different ward. The people you meet on the mish :) haha
Elizabeth Northrup is getting baptized on Saturday September 8. We also set another baptismal date for September 28. Baptisms are like my favorite thing ever! Keep praying for Elizabeth this week, she is going to be facing a lot of opposition this week.
I was really grateful for Sister Briggs on Thursday night, a lot of stuff had been building up and bothering me and I just had to get it all out. I heard a quote that said, "The faith that can't be shaken is the faith that has been shaken." I think I got a little taste of that this last week. I was questioning some things, but I am so much better now. I think the Lord let's us struggle a little bit, sometimes a lot a bit so that we can prove to ourselves how strong we are. He already knows we will get through it, but He lets us find out that we can.
