We got another e-mail from Sister Hyde today! She sounds so good, but ready to be in California. She said, "I don't love the MTC, and I am excited to get into the field, but I don't hate it either" The good news is her departure date is next week (the twenty seventh) so we'll get to talk to her from the airport. Can't wait to tell you guys about that!
The other good news is her entire district is jealous of all the mail she's getting! She's getting the most letters and she got 3 packages! And once I get her Cali address I'll post it so you guys can keep them coming!
Also, this week she had some bad news. She said one of the sister missionaries, Sister Katoa, went home. She said she was just too homesick. So now her companion, Sister Carlton is a tri-panionship with Ann Marie and Sister Ouimette. She said they're both nice girls, but Sister Ouimette and Carlton have conflicting personalities. She said the worked everything out and the the three of them are going to try really hard to focus on their relationship with the Lord.
As for her investigators you should know that she's making headway with James and Joni. If you read read her letter last week you know that she is teaching to non members, which is unusual for the MTC. Joni and James are an older couple, their kids are members and they promised them they'd volunteer at the MTC. Joni really wants to be baptized, but James needs some convincing. He read the BoM this week though! He said it reminded him of a Steven King Novel because of all the war.... Haha!
Ann Marie leaves the MTC next Tuesday, so we'll get to talk to her from the air port! Can't wait! Let you know!
